HCV antibody test, is used to find out if someone has ever been infected with the hepatitis C virus. The HCV antibody test, sometimes called the anti-HCV test, looks for antibodies to the hepatitis C virus in blood.
A herpes IgM test is a blood test that can detect early herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection. This test does not detect herpes directly. Instead, it looks for IgM, a type of antibody that can be produced in response to a herpes infection.

HIV 1&2 Combo (Ag/Abs) functions as a screening test and should not be used to make a final diagnosis. Further testing by NAT/PCR-based methods is recommended for confirmatory purposes.
